Cadillac Celebrates Formula 1 Entry With 685-HP CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series

Cadillac is bringing Formula 1 energy straight to the street with the reveal of the ultra-exclusive 2026 CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series. Timed alongside the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix and Cadillac Formula 1 Team’s first home race, the special edition sedan celebrates Cadillac officially joining the F1 grid in 2026.

Only 26 examples of the Collector Series will be built, making it one of the rarest and most track-focused Cadillac sedans ever created. Canadian fans will get their first chance to see it in person during Montréal’s Canadian Grand Prix weekend.

The CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series takes the already legendary Blackwing formula and turns it up another notch. Power comes from a hand-built 6.2-litre supercharged V8 now producing 685 horsepower and 673 lb-ft of torque thanks to an upgraded supercharger developed alongside GM Motorsports. Cadillac says this makes it the most powerful Blackwing model ever built.

Even better for driving enthusiasts, every Collector Series model comes exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission along with Cadillac’s Precision Package for sharper track capability and handling.

Visually, the car leans heavily into Cadillac’s Formula 1® identity. Finished in Midnight Stone Frost, the sedan features Carbon Flash Metallic wheels, Harbour Gray Metallic brake calipers, carbon-fibre exterior accents and gloss black badging. Formula 1 and FIA branding appears throughout the vehicle, including stamped door logos, embossed seat graphics, a CNC-machined F1® logo on the supercharger cover and even a unique serialized builder’s badge.

Cadillac also introduced several advanced manufacturing touches for the Collector Series, including 3D-printed interior components and a new automated “autocraft” stamping technique used on the F1® door logos.

The launch of the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series marks another major moment for Cadillac’s expanding V-Series performance lineup. What started over two decades ago as Cadillac’s high-performance division now includes both traditional V8-powered performance sedans and newer electric performance models like the OPTIQ-V and LYRIQ-V.
